Alaska!!!

Dear Mom,

Dad found a nice camp spot last night, we got to hang out and he cooked dinner. Dad said the mountains were pretty on the drive, I was asleep.

We made it to Alaska!! The snow is really deep here, it makes it hard to figure out where to go to the bathroom. Is it going to melt soon?

Dad got me an octopus toy at one of our stops today. It’s weird playing with it in the van, I’m excited to have more room to spread out soon.

Dad said we get to pick you up tomorrow!!!

    So glad you and dad are almost there Maverick. William came over to visit today. Mom and dad made me a new bunker to hide in on the great bed you gave me. Hope the snow melts soon. Love your new octopus. Give you mom a lick for me. I am going to miss sitting on her lap while she is gone. See you in the fall. Cat outRoy

    I empathize with your discomfort. I m down in Lakeland, FL. I endured todays heat wave up to 85°. It’s hard to sleep because loud airplanes are always flying over head. With luck, I plan to head home to TN Saturday morning. Hang in there!
