Baths and a new home

Our cabin for the summer

Dear Ruth the Van,

Mom and dad said we are moving into a cabin for the summer, we still love you and plan to take lots of trips with you while we are here.

I heard you got a bath today, I know that wasn’t fun, but better you than me!!

Ruth’s indoor carwash bath (they had a dog wash too, but I didn’t have to get one today)

It’s cold here and I smell lots of big animals….mom and dad said it will warm up in a few months, I’m not sure I believe them.

    Dear Mav –

    Thanks for the images! Looks like Ruth and me both got a bath yesterday. Mom said playing in the creek on a hike with Dad isn’t a bath. She says I smell like ‘Clean Dog’ now – don’t I know it. 😦

    That image of your Dad on the lakeshore was neat. His new ‘office’ is impressive in the background. I hope you’ll send more of those as the year progresses.

    The new cabin is awesome! And the snow brow on the porch roof is pretty cool. (Our cat should hang out under that.) And the new bed! And Mom is there! Have fun this week with her – make sure she’s in for extra walks and treats and belly rubs.
