Spring?

Dear Ruth the Van,

Thanks for leaving us some tire tracks to walk in the other day. Two feet of snow is a little deep to walk in.

People here say it’s supposed to be spring, but I’m not sure it’s here yet. Everyone said that this much snow isn’t usual for April, I guess we are lucky.

Some friends came to visit last night and play with me. Mom and dad went to dinner with them, then we walked down to the river in town so we could see the mountains.

Dad is getting to go on some ride alongs today, since the mountains are clear now. He said it’s really beautiful.

Mom said it’s supposed to warm up this weekend. I really like the cold weather, but I’m hoping it gets a little warmer.

    Two feet of snow would be over my head! Good thing you are tall. Dad says Ruth the Van is Bada**! She’s in her element. And is good, he said.

    Dad was sad yesterday morning – he said something about Starbucks and your Mom and Scott. And that he’d get to go again in October. Then we went for a walk and I was happy.

    Those images are super-awesome. But it still looks cold, except that shorts still work?
