Sunshine day!

Dear Ruth the Van,

The sun was out all day yesterday (over 19 hours) and everyone seems to get really excited on those days. I got lots of walks and outside time with mom.

Dad is extra busy on sunny days. He had five flights and landed on the glacier several times. He even got to see his friend Jason, who is a pilot for another company. It sounds like a real party out on the ice.

When dads busy, mom gets extra time to hang out with me. I’ve gotten really good at being her copilot when we run errands.

We got to see Denali on our morning walk, and even saw a weird bird that hopped into a tree to get away from us (ptarmigan).

    Dear Mav –

    Sorry so long since last message. Mom and Dad left me with Sister whilst they went somewhere called Olympic NP. They said closer to you – only a 48 hr 40 minute drive from Seattle to Talkeetna.

    When Sister is the Primary Thumb Provider it means less walks and less fun but 100% no baths. On balance, it works.

    Great to see the Sunshine! And Dad’s Ginormous Smile. He must really like Jason. Five flights are a bunch. Good thing not a Brewery, Dad said.

    We miss your Mom here. The image of knitting and flipflops did it – Dad said it’s so very much Abigail!

    We speak and think of you all often. When you share, we are there. too. Grateful!
