The lower 48, and updates to come

Mom and dad were excited to cross the border back into the “lower 48”

Dear Ruth the Van,

Goodness it’s been a busy few weeks, sorry I haven’t written sooner. We have a lot to catch up on! We have taken epic road trips, had friends visit, packed up our cabin, and started home.

Mom said we are in the “lower 48” now, whatever that means. All I know is that drive through windows are supposed to have treats for dogs, and none of the border crossing guards had treats for me!

Mom said we will be home in a couple of weeks, for now we are driving and camping and visiting some friends on the way. I’ll write more when we get home about the adventures we have had since my last post.

On the road again,

    We are so glad you are headed home. We have missed you Maverick and your mom and dad. Not sure Roy would say he missed you Maverick but that’s cats. Tell mom and dad to drive safely and here’s hoping your next drive through window is full of treats. Love Nana and Grandpa
